You provide the images. We resize and edit them (if needed) and permanently mount and seal them to quality jewelry. The result is a custom piece of jewelry that allows you to keep your most cherished photos close all the time.
Our designs are made from sterling silver as well as silver plate, and occasionally other non-precious metals. Sometimes these components are combined to create great designs to meet various budgets. Details as to the silver content of the charms, necklaces, and bracelets are always provided in the product description in the on line catalog.
Almost any image that you have can be used to make photo jewelry. The sharper and brighter the original is the better. Examples include:
Digital files that you email to us.
Hard copy prints that you mail to us. We scan them to create a digital file to use to make the jewelry. Your original prints are returned with your order.
If you have a cherished hard copy print that you can scan yourself, you can just email us the digital file and keep your prints at home. PCG is not responsible for items lost or damaged by the US Mail or other third party shippers.
If your file or print is copyrighted by a professional photographer, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained a copyright release before providing it to Perfectly Charming Gifts.
Yes. We will resize photos to fit the jewelry and can crop the image per your instructions. You can use one person out of a group shot for example. We can also change a color image to back and white or sepia tone to create a different look as you desire. Some charms definitely fit a “portrait” or “landscape” orientation better and if we think we can not adapt your image to the jewelry you have ordered we will contact you to review other options.
We strive to match every color and detail but printing processes can result in slight color differences. We can not guaranty an exact color match but it will be a quality, professional image.
Your photos are sealed and protected by a waterproof resin. You can get your jewelry wet but it is advised to not expose the resin to solvents or products that can act as solvents (like hair spray). You care for the rest of the jewelry like any other with mild cleaners, cream polishes, or a polishing cloth. You should not directly scrub the resin with polishes or cleaners or using a liquid dip type jewelry cleaner.
Once we have received your order, payment, and your images, it takes on average two to three weeks to produce your piece. Shipping time will then determine the total time it takes for you to receive your jewelry.
All items arrive in a tasteful gift box with a bow.
Yes. If the design lends itself to multiple charms (like a bracelet), and you purchased the original piece from Perfectly Charming Gifts, you can order additional photo charms later. You can either add the charm yourself, or return the item to us and we will add it for you. Normal shipping charges will apply when we return the modified piece to you.
We currently do not sell empty charms. We only sell separate charms with photos when you are adding them to a piece previously purchased from Perfectly Charming Gifts.
Because each item is custom made and work may begin on your piece as soon as you place an order, it is not possible to cancel an order.
